Poker Aces – how-to play them

Poker Aces refers to two aces being dealt pre-flop. It is the best possible pre-flop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But regardless a great many players find themselves on the losing end when dealt this hand.

When you’re dealt a pair of Aces, you just don’t fold pre-flop. You’re positioned with the greatest possible hand at this part of the round. So how do you wager with Poker Aces ? Do you actually go all-in? I would say absolutely no to that.

Remember, you are looking to acquire as much money from this strong position. You want to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will actually scare most gamblers into dropping out before placing a bet.

If you’re in the initial spot (first or 2nd to actually bet), you’ll make a single bet. Any person with good cards will call, with hope a player may raise. If someone has made a raise don’t spring to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

After the flop your plan will be to eliminate anybody that could get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise boldly, if you are lucky you’ll fool 1 player into thinking that you’re bluffing.

If you’re in the center or late seat (near the last to cast your bet) you will watch as everyone calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if possible try to avert a show-down. Protect your hand by making the other players fold after the flop. If you don’t get rid of your competition you chance squandering your hand.
