Beginners Strategy for Double-Hand Poker
Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the western in an excellent game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the croupier, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, new players don’t have to fret about any other, more advanced players taking their $$$$.
One more Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game pace, rookies are able to take their time and scheme without having to make quick choices.
It’s also simpler to wager on for a very long time with just a tiny bit of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the croupier gets seven cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and one two card hand must be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
