A handful of poker techniques will surprise you with their simplicity. This is one of them. Take down your outcomes, every time you gamble.

Thou have to write down your successes and your loses; for it is the sum of all a persons achievements which create their basis.
How detailed is your decision. I tend to think that hourly info and that type of intimate information is wasted. Basically figure out how much ahead you are and what amount (if anything) you have taken out. Certainly, if you don’t win, record that too, regardless of how much it hurts.
Do not omit to record what type of poker you’re gambling on, if that’s important to you. (In my expertise, most folks keep to what they understand and do not experiment. If all you record is up, loses and what you’ve taken out, you are light years ahead of a majority of players around!)
Bestow on yourself achievable ambitions, like a ‘dream’ target (new vehicle, get-a-way or anything else). When you take out, mark the money taken out to your dream counter. The greater the success you have, the closer that goal will be!
